Love My Diet

The first day of a diet is filled with hope.  You are sure this is the one,  you are sure you will not slip,  you are in love with your diet.  Unfortunately by the end of the day you are rethinking things.

Keep with it.  It will get easier.

Yes you will slip.  But when you do get right back on track.  You are only human and you will be tempted.  It is how you deal with that temptation that counts.  Do you brand yourself as a bad person, don’t do it!  Dieting is hard, look at what you have done realistically, a slip is not Ir-reversible.  Sit down and Analise your slip:

  • What caused you to slip?  If you know the cause you can avoid doing it again.
  • Was the slip really that big?  Your diet should not be so strict that you can’t enjoy a slice of pizza or birthday cake once in a while.
  • Get over it and get on with it.  Tomorrow is another day.
